Soljans Two Sisters Rosé 2008

Price: $17.00
WineMaker: Tony Soljan
Tasting Notes The long cool fermentation has enhanced the delicate rose petal aroma. The fresh, slightly spritzy taste give life to the cherry and strawberry fruit flavours which abound, a consequence of the blend of ripe aromatic grape varieties used.
Winemakers Notes All grapes were machine harvested and the fruit crushed locally in Gisborne prior to transport to our Kumeu winery. The rosé juice was drained from skins after 12 hours skin contact. Cold settling ensured very clear juice and special flavour enhancing yeast was used to ferment the juice slowly for 6 weeks.
Food Match: Perfect for lunchtime sipping. Try with an antipasto platter, or light salads.
Cellaring: Ready to drink now, the screw cap closure ensures confident cellaring potential, but this Rosé is ideal over summer months.
Alcohol: 12% | Residual Sugar: 13 | Total Acidity: 6.45 | pH: 3.52
