Our Tribute Merlot | Malbec tells the heritage story of three generations of Soljans.  

In 1932 Bartful Soljan planted the first Soljan vineyard in New Zealand. Frank and Tony Soljan followed in his footsteps, and today we are proud to have over 80 years of winemaking knowledge in producing this wine.  

Beautifully balanced by a hint of cedar spice from aging in our French oak barrels, fine-grained tannins bring the wine to a lovely finish, allowing the Malbec to truly shine in this vintage, enhancing its brightness and ensuring excellent longevity. 

With notes of blackberry, mocha, cherry, and plum, we love our Tribute Merlot | Malbec paired with an aged cheddar platter or red meat dish and of course surrounded by family.
