Founders Tawny Port Bottle NV

This is the taste of Soljans, and a beautiful blend of our history. 

Rich in history, this Tawny Port is blended in a Solero style of wines from old French Oak Barriques to our very own, 70-year-old Totora barrels. This style of making port imparts the richness and character from all previous wine added to the blend.  

Our flavour blend also includes sultana, caramelised figs, butterscotch, and spice. The palate is raisiny, sweet, creamy, and soft with a long lingering finish. Although other grade varieties are currently used, the Black Hamburg grapes established in 1937 remain in these Totora casks today.  

Also available in a stylish decanter and little sister Piccolo, our Port is a beautiful gift or lovely served with strong cheese, dark chocolate, or Christmas fruit cake for a special treat.
