This is a family and New Zealand first. Having the 5th Generation of our family involved in the business and helping to produce something we are very proud of.
This 2016 Chardonnay was grown at our estate in Kumeu. Tended to carefully throughout the years by the 3rd generation, Tony, and his grandson, Tyler. Barrel aged for 18 months in 50% new French Oak, with 100% malolactic fermentation allows this wine to be very well balanced. A youthful stonefruit and pineapple bouquet, creme brulee and toasted hazelnut on the palate with a lengthy finish. Drinking outstandingly now, with great potential over the coming years.
This wine is very limited and will only be made on outstanding years of harvest. An exclusive wine from our family owned and run, boutique winery.
